Webinar Series

Past Webinars:

Coaching Boys to Men

Teaching and modeling respectful behavior towards women and girls in our schools and communities is everyone's responsibility. Learn how some men all across the country are using their influence and status as coaches and mentors to have a positive impact on the perceptions and attitudes boys and young men have towards female classmates, peers, friends and family members.

If you work closely with boys and young men in your respective school, neighborhood, church youth group, after-school program, athletics or extra curricular activities, you will want to participate in the Coaching Boys to Men webinar.

Webinar participants will:

  • Examine coaches’ and mentors’ role in preventing bullying and gender violence in communities
  • Discuss current trends in intimate partner violence among youth and adults
  • Connect values like teamwork and respect with healthy relationships
  • Receive a 12 week, evidence-based curriculum to use with male athletes and young men in their sphere of influence.

On the day of the webinar, you will be given the option to enter a login OR enter as a guest. The login is just for our presenters, so click "enter as guest". You will then only need to enter your name and click "enter room."  Audio will be live streamed through your computer.

The webinar will be available at http://univnia.adobeconnect.com/safeschools
