# 1 Overview
A subcommittee consisting of members of the College of Education technology committee, Educational Media faculty, Office of Student Feld Experiences and elementary and secondary science educators met to determine how to best develop "a model of how we might begin to improve in teaching students and faculty to appropriately use technology with benchmarks" (COE Technology Minutes, July 2, 1996). The position of Curriculum & Technology Project Specialist (CTPS) was developed.
