The Board establishes rules and regulations to ensure the integrity and competence of licensed Nursing Home Administrators and investigates complaints for unprofessional conduct.
Licensees are responsible for meeting all licensure requirements and should review the rules carefully and frequently. Iowa requires nursing home administrators to have a bachelor's degree.
