2013 Research Symposium

On Tuesday, October 29th we held our annual Research Symposium. Thank you to those who presented as well as those who attended the symposium. It is a great opportunity to see what the incredible students in our program are doing. Also, a big thanks to the CSI members who volunteered their time to help us set up for the symposium. We will be adding pictures of each of the presenters soon.

Dr. Meany-Walen Play Therapy Seminar

On Wednesday, November 20th Dr. Kristin Meany-Walen held a short seminar on play therapy. We are excited to have Dr. Meany-Walen as full-time faculty now, especially regarding her expertise in the play therapy field. Thank you to Dr. Meany-Walen and all of those who attended.

Holiday Bake Sale

On Monday, December 2nd we held a bake sale in Mauker Union. We raised $86.17 in the short three hours we were there. All of this money will be donated to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank at the end of the semester.  Thank you for those who volunteered their time either baking the delicious treats, or working at the table. We found out William Peach is quite the salesman!

Can Food & Coin Drive

Along with our bake sale, we are also holding a canned food and coin drive for the last 3 weeks of the semester. CSI members will be coming to classes with jars for coins, or you can drop coins and cans off in Roberta's office. All money and food will go to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Thank you to those who are already so graciously donated!

Research Symposium

As part of our program history, students have been presenting their work at our annual research symposium. Take a look at the pictures below to see what our students have been researching in the past years.
