Research Interests: Social theory, social psychology, health and illness, and the sociology of human rights. I am currently involved in revising a book on symbolic interactionism and editing a reader on social psychology. I am also involved in research that examines the social construction of human rights and the social, political, and economic forces that foster or undermine human rights.
