Topics covered include: community health needs assessments, health disparities re: ethnicity/race and rapid ethnic diversification, mental health and acculturation, health program evaluations, behavioral health surveillance, substance abuse (prevention, treatment and relationships with physical/sexual abuse), tobacco use prevention and control, Medicaid clients, gambling addiction treatment, community corrections, special needs inmates, public priorities for various topics (community development, public health, K-12 schools, economic development), public opinion (re: local option taxes, community services, public television), public support for recycling and waste management, alumni views of education-work relationships.
