Data Analysis

The CSBR Data Analysis Lab has a wide range of data analysis resources for application to research projects.  These include all the standard hardware and software used for survey research and other types of social inquiry.  The Lab is committed to producing objective, accurate and useful analyses for project sponsors.

The Data Analysis Lab’s activities are lead by the CSBR Projects Coordinator, Mel Gonnerman, and supported by a staff of graduate and undergraduate research assistants.

Research assistants have opportunities to increase their knowledge of social research methodology and data analysis in an applied setting. They are involved in many stages of the research process including generating literature searches and reviews, coding and entering data, assisting with the design and implementation of various types of surveys, conducting data analysis using SPSS and other statistical analysis software, and assisting in report preparation and oral presentations.
