Athletic Training
The Athletic Training Master of Science degree is designed for those who are NATABOC certified athletic trainers who wish further education in treatment and rehabilitation of the physically active.
Admission is competitive and based upon undergraduate grade point average, recommendations, and interview results. Once admitted, each student will be required to complete the program of study as well as the clinical component of the program. All additional requirements and information are available at the Division of Athletic Training office. Students interested in this program must submit a completed Application for Admission to Graduate Study. The Graduate Record Examination (General Test) is not required for admission to the program.
This degree is offered on a thesis and non‑thesis option. A minimum of 36 semester credit hours is required. A minimum of 21 semester hours at the 200/6000-level is required for both the thesis and non‑thesis options.
