Actos Sin Nombre
Actos Sin Nombre is a performance group at the University of Northern Iowa that produces new and innovative forms of theatre to explore issues surrounding immigration in the United States.
Most recently, the group produced Carne Viva in Postville: Stories of Madres and Monarchs in the fall of 2011. Written and directed by Jennifer Cooley, Ph.D. and Karen Mitchell, Ph.D., Carne Viva is an ethnodrama based on testimonials from a group of Guatemalan women who worked at the Agriprocessors kosher meatpacking plant in Postville, Iowa.
The Carne Viva cast
