All fees for this course, with the exception of a $60 registration fee (billed upon acceptance), are covered by the generous support of the Iowa Math and Science Education Partnership (IMSEP). Registration includes two hours of graduate credit, lunches, dinners, textbooks, equipment, transportation in the field, instructional costs and housing (if needed).
The Iowa Mathematics and Science Education Partnership (IMSEP) is a state-funded initiative led by the University of Northern Iowa, with Iowa State University and The University of Iowa. IMSEP's goals are to improve the mathematics and science performance of Iowa students; to prepare more high quality mathematics and science teachers for Iowa's schools; and to promote statewide collaboration and cooperation.
Students who desire housing at the University of Northern Iowa may make arrangements with the UNI Department of Residence. The cost (single occupancy in an air-conditioned residence hall) will be paid by IMSEP. For further information and to reserve a room, contact David Schmid, UNI Department of Residence, at 319-273-2333, 866-207-9411 or David.Schmid@uni.edu.
If your plans change and you must cancel, please contact UNI Continuing and Distance Education at 319-273-5970 or 800-648-3864 as soon as possible so we may allow those on the waiting list the opportunity to attend. Cancellations must be made by June 22 in order to receive a refund of the $60 registration fee.
