UNI offers several courses each year for community college instructors. Courses are used for teacher updates, recertification credits or endorsement requirements. Courses are designed for both arts and sciences and career and technical faculty and may be integrated with your college’s quality faculty plan*.

Philosophy and historical development, principles, practices and organization of public career and technical and adult education in the nation.

This is a foundations course. It includes foundations of career and technical education as well as foundations of community colleges.

Course delivery

Courses are offered entirely at a distance utilizing WebCT, a computer conferencing program requiring Internet access and a web browser—no additional software is required. Students may need access to someone who can assist with computer set-up.

Course 330:191g will also have two days on on-campus instruction.
