Distance Education Opportunities

UNI Continuing and Distance Education serves approximately 11,000 enrollments annually via the Iowa Communications Network (ICN), online courses and on-site workshops. Offerings include certificate and graduate degree programs, Guided Independent Study courses, the Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree program and more. Tallgrass Prairie Center

Located on the UNI campus and utilizing 65 acres of campus and leased land for native seed production plots, the Tallgrass Prairie Center develops research, techniques, education and source identified seed for restoration and preservation of native vegitation in rights-of-way and other lands.
