Iowa Secondary School Health Education Teaching Endorsement

With the exception of one hands-on course (HPE 4186/5186 Studies in Secondary School Health Education Methods) offered summers in-person on the UNI campus, endorsement courses are currently offered online via UNI Guided Independent Study (GIS).

With GIS, you can enroll at any time, work at your own pace and take up to nine months to complete your course. Courses are delivered online, utilizing a computer conferencing program (eLearning). Use of eLearning requires access to the Internet and a web browser -- no additional software is required.
