Determine the courses you need
The best way to get started with regard to the Iowa K-8 Reading Endorsement is to work with Cathy Humke in the Registrar's Office at 319-273-2245 or Cathy.Humke@uni.edu to determine the courses you need to take to complete the endorsement.
Apply to the UNI Graduate College
If you are planning to take courses from UNI, you will need to apply to the graduate college under the category of non-degree status.
What to expect
After your transcripts are analyzed and your requirements are determined, program coordinator Deb Tidwell will work with you to map out a program of study that will lead to the endorsement.
