| CALL FOR GIFTS SUBMISSIONS!
Deadline approaching. GIFTS (Great Ideas For Teaching Speech--and
other communication class) always seems to be among the best-attended
of all ICA panels. After all, most of us are always looking for new
ideas or for activities that students find useful or particularly
relevant. Think back to some of your most successful classroom assignments
and consider sharing those with our ICA membership this fall. Format
your submission with a title, reference to the class(es) where most
fitting, explanation of assignment, and reference to student feedback.
Those selected for presentation will be informed of their acceptance
by August 15 and should bring 25-30 copies of the assignment to the
convention to share with audience members. Deadline for submissions has been extended to July 30 and may be sent electronically to: lamoureux@bvu.edu |
