Electronic Media Scholarship Information
1. Tom Pettit Scholarship (Application: April and November)
Criteria for the Tom Pettit Scholarship are as follows:
Declared Major in Electronic Media or Journalism OR have completed six hours in Journalism minor. Also Junior or Senior standing with career plans in communication. Student must be attending UNI the following semester or year. Amount awarded, $200.
2. Eugene Grossman Scholarship (Application: April and November)
Criteria for the Eugene and Mary Grossman Scholarship are as follows:
Must be declared Junior or Senior Electronic Media Major who have completed more than 20 hours of major course work and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Must be enrolled for at least 12 hours of course credit for the semester in which the scholarship is received. Amount awarded varies.
3. Iowa Broadcasters Association Scholarships (Application: February)
The Iowa Broadcasters Association provides scholarship support to two declared Electronic Media majors each year. The award will be $4000 per recipient. And the scholarship is renewable.
Criteria for the Iowa Broadcasters Association Scholarship are as follows:
Scholarships are awarded to declared Electronic Media majors for the semesters in which the scholarship is received. Grant recipients must be enrolled for at least 12 hours of course credit for the semesters in which the scholarship is received
