Comments & Concerns

"If you had asked me before how many shots went into the average video, I would have said anywhere from 50 to maybe 100, but after studying and actually COUNTING each shot in some of the videos on MTV2 and CMT, I discovered that the average slow song has about 150-180 shots, and the fast songs are well over 200!"

"I think Katie, Signe and I enjoyed putting the shots to video. It is very time consuming trying to get the shots in sync with the music, but you feel good after you have it all come together."

"The most important thing I've learned in the making of this music video is to not over-plan. Steve and I had a pretty good idea what we wanted to get done, the variety of shots we wanted etc., but we left enough room to improvise on the shoot. If you have it too planned out, you may miss the happy accidents waiting to happen."

"Editing is always fun despite how time consuming it is. When everything starts coming together and you can really feel it, that is exciting. Random acts of strangeness are always fun while shooting."

-Wade Rouse

"I didn't think that we would have so many problems in the editing lab. The storage on the computer was always full so we couldn't capture all of our footage. Overall, I am proud of all the great work that we put into this video. We all got to know each other and we had a lot of fun."
