UNI Interpreters Theatre Opens Season with ''Wild at Heart,'' Oct. 23-25

The UNI Interpreters Theatre opens its 2008-09 season with "Wild at Heart," adapted and directed by Paul J. Siddens III, Ph.D.

Based on the novel by Barry Gifford, the story is about Sailor and Lula, unconditional lovers whose dreams always seem just out of their reach. On the run from Lula's disapproving mother and the private eye she has hired to steal Lula away from Sailor, the two travel from North Carolina to New Orleans, finding the world is wild at heart. Stranded in Big Tuna, Texas, they meet evil Bobby Peru, and their dreams turn into a nightmare.

Performances are on October 23, 24, and 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Lang Hall 040. Admission is free.
