Wednesday, April 08, 2009 Montoya and Duong Win Awards at Graduate SymposiaCongratulations to Pilar Montoya and Hue Duong for the awards they both received at the two graduate symposia last week.
Pilar placed 2nd, in a competitive pool of 50 poster presentations, on Wednesday in the Graduate College Research Symposium, for her work on supervisor-subordinate conflicts and gender/sex differences.
Hue placed 3rd, among a pool of 7 already competitively selected CHFA Graduate Student presentations, on Friday, for his work on applying communication theory to NGO work on landmines in Vietnam.
