Black Hawk Park

One of the largest county parks in Iowa, Black Hawk Park is a wonderful place to go for the afternoon. While you’re there, you have several options of how to spend your time including picnic shelters, fishing areas, boat ramps, a trail system, public hunting opportunities, firearm ranges, an archery range, and trapshooting. If you want to stay for more than an afternoon, make sure you check out the available camping sites. The park also offers cross-country skiing and ice fishing to meet your winter recreational needs. No matter what time of year it is, there’s always something to do at Black Hawk!
