There has never been a more exciting time to visit the Waterloo Center for the Arts! Located in downtown Waterloo, the Center offers something creative for everyone. From hosting a variety of classes, workshops, and events to showcasing works from its permanent collection and traveling artists, the Center is the cultural crossroads for all ages and levels of experience. The Center also recently opened the new Phelps Youth Pavilion, an interactive children’s art museum featuring over 40 hands-on exhibits for all ages to explore. Milk a life-size cow, virtually drive a tractor into a Grant Wood painting, test your skills at digital finger painting, explore the music, language, and culture of other countries, and so much more! And, lastly, the Center offers group tours and room rentals, houses a unique Gift Store and the Arthouse Café, and has a variety of great volunteer opportunities.
