UNI SAVE (Students Against a Violent Environment) is a social justice peer theatre troupe. Students come together to share their voices in a conversation that explores privilege and oppression at UNI. Using performance, dialogue, and play, they work together to make a campus safe for all.
The group has worked with various campus audiences, including first year students, athletes, fraternities and sororities, men's groups, co-curricular organizations, and students in a variety of liberal arts classes at UNI. They also have presented for groups in Nebraska, North Carolina, Missouri, Oregon, Minnesota, and Kansas. Workshops are custom-made for various audiences in order to address issues that are directly connected to their lives.
If you would like to request a workshop or performance for your class, organization, or event, please contact Amandajean Nolte.
