"No Exit" at UNI Interpreters Theatre, Oct. 11-13
The 2012-2013 UNI Interpreters Theatre season opens October 11, 12, and 13 with Jean Paul Sartre’s 1944 existentialist play No Exit. The production, directed by UNI associate professor Paul J. Siddens III, tells the story of three complete strangers with pasts they are all reluctant to reveal, who find themselves in an unusual predicament. They have been led to well-appointed room they are to share; where there is a door, but they can never leave; there are lights but they never go out; and it’s unbearably hot.
Cast members include Rachel Malkewitz, Nicholas Chizek, Katherine Benzing-Bernard, and Zach Smith.
The UNI Interpreters Theatre is located in Lang Hall 040. Admission passes are free for the public and are available one hour before the production begins. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m.
Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
