I am constantly reading literature about student success in the classroom, healthy relationship strategies, and connecting students with their communities. My intersts are varied because I have so much excitement for many parts of life!

Personal/Professional Interests

I believe in serving our communities, it is our duty and delight to create a system that encourages personal responsibility and success.  Teaching and imparting knowledge to students is just one of the many ways that I want to make a difference in the world. 

In my own community I am very involved in my church; coordinating VBS, Sunday School, Christmas Programs, and serving on various committees.

The greatest joy in my life is being a mother to my son Tucker, 10 and daughter Estelle, 8.  They make me laugh every day and continuously teach and remind me about the simplistic joys in life. 

Try to live each and every day with an attitude of gratitude...it's our choice.
