Return your yellow card

Graduates will receive a yellow card in the mail, which must be returned to the Registrar's Office by Monday, November 10, 2008. The card must have a mailing address for your diploma. The name of each candidate participating will be read from the yellow cards. Please fill out both sides of the yellow card and mail back to the Registrar's Office using the return envelope provided with your letter. If the card is not returned by the deadline it will be assumed you are not attending the Commencement ceremony.

When to be at the UNI-Dome

You should report to the East Concourse of the UNI-Dome promptly at 9:30 a.m. to line up for the morning ceremory or
report at 1 pm to lineup for the afternoon ceremony.. There will be an instruction sheet and seating diagram in the lineup area. You will find a list of colleges and departments on the university organizations page to help you identify your college. NOTE: If you are a teaching major, you will sit with the college of your major not the College of Education. (Example: Art Education will sit with Humanities and Fine Arts).

Where to sit

Check the signs on the end seats of the rows to find your seat. Seating for students in the Division of Continuing
Education and Special Programs will be alphabetical; seating for other colleges will be alphabetical within majors in the
department. Graduate students will be in a separate seating section in alphabetical order by college. Your yellow reader's card will be on your chair for you to pick up, along with, in some cases, a red College and/or green Department card
stapled to the yellow card. The cards must remained stapled together to be given to the card reader, so that they may
read these cards to announce the colleges and departments. Please fill out the survey form and read the instruction
sheet while you are waiting in the seating area.

We advise that extremely high heels not be worn, because you will be going down stairs.
