Supervision of Special Education - Instructional
Students who hold or will be holding a Master of Arts in Education - Special Education plus thirty (30) hours in special education (instructional) may receive the Supervision of Special Education - Instructional Endorsement by successfully completing the following program from the University of Northern Iowa.
Option 1:
A Specialist in Education - Special Education Supervision degree.
Option 2:
A Master of Arts in Education - Special Education with a Special Education instructional endorsement, Chapter 73.2, plus 30 graduate semester hours. These hours may have been part of a degree program.
Option 3:
A Master's Degree in another area of Education programs, plus thirty (30) graduate semester hours may have been part of, or in addition to, the degree requirements.

Other Requirements:
1. The student must hold or meet the requirements for a K-6 and 7-12 Special Education teaching endorsement.
2. The student must hold or meet the requirements for the Special Education Consultant Endorsement.
3. The student must have two (2) years of consultant, supervisor, head teacher or equivalent experience in Special Education.
