Jacobson Center Opened With Summer Institute 2012
The University of Northern Iowa's Jacobson Center for Comprehensive Literacy began operations with a Summer Institute held June 25-28, 2012, at the Park Place Event Centre in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Institute focused on the Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy program (PCL). The Jacobson Center is one of seven national training centers for PCL, which features a systemic approach to school reform, based on Comprehensive Literacy Model (CLM) coach-led professional development, intensive data analysis, and a highly effective approach to Response-To-Intervention called the Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM).
