| Function: |
Provides for the annual public recognition of outstanding performance by one College of Education faculty member in each of three areas of performance: teaching, scholarship, and professional service. |

| Membership: |
- One tenured faculty member elected from within each school/department in the COE
-
- one member appointed by the Dean of COE from the following administrators; associate dean, directors, department/school heads, MPLS principal
- two students appointed by the COE Senate
- one graduate of an undergraduate or graduate program of the COE appointed by the COE Senate; and
- the Dean of the COE who shall serve as an ex-officio member without vote.
