Upcoming Events:

1. People to People: Dr. Schneider will be giving a formal presentation to anyone interested in People to People. After seeing the presentation you must submit and application and interview with Dr. Schneider to apply. All of this needs to be done by early November, so keep your eyes open for more information!
   

2. 100 books: If you read a book, let Jessica know! If we ready 100 books (text or Harry Potter) Scholastic will donate 100 books to children in need.
   

3. National Gifted Conference: Registration is half off for students, which ends up $120. Email Dr. Schneider if interested. Carpools and hotel sharing can be arranged.
   

4. “E Pluribus Unum” 8^th grade conference: November 30th. If you are not on a committee sign up now!
   
   
5. Dr. Schneider is looking into SAMLE volunteering at a middle level conference in April (3rd-4th?).
   
   
6. Future Teachers Seminar: November 9th, Mason City. $5 for snacks, lunch, goodie bag, speaker, and development sessions.Registration forms can be found at the following link http://www.niacc.edu/education/index.html
   Joanna mentioned that UTESAC was taking a van and space might be available.
