Reading and Writing for
Critical Thinking
The Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking Project promotes interactive methods of teaching that prepare students for citizenship in open societies. Participating teachers and teacher educators work with students in grades one to twelve. In the 1997-1998 school year, the project had enrolled educators from thirteen countries. As of January 2000, the project is active in twenty countries.
