COE Computer Standards Policy back

22 May 2002 (revised: June 2003)

The following standards have been reviewed and approved by both the COE technology committee and the Dean’s office and are effective immediately

To provide the best and most expeditious technology support it is necessary for IRTS to create and maintain standards for both hardware and software for all COE units (Price Lab School excluded).

To assure compliance with these standards, and thus assuring that your unit receives the best possible support contact Neil Clopton at neil.clopton@uni.edu to review hardware and software configurations prior to purchase.

Your existing non-standard operating systems will be supported by IRTS until August 15, 2003. New purchases of non-standard devices and operating systems will not be supported by IRTS.
