Operating Multimedia Console

To operate equipment follow these steps:
1. The power button for console is located underneath center of console in the upper right hand corner.
2. Use the Proxima Remote (located in drawer on left side) to power on the LCD. To do this point remote towards the “black pyramid shaped object” (located on top of the console) and press the “Power” button on the remote.
3. Turn on / off each component (Computer, VCR, Document Viewer)
that will be used separately.
4. To display any of the components (Computer, VCR, Document Viewer) use the Proxima Remote:

a. To Display the Gateway or Mac Computers.

  • Point Proxima Remote towards “black pyramid shaped object” press “Computer” button on the remote. Menu will appear on the rear projection screen, then use the tracking ball on the Proxima remote to scroll down and select choice by pressing the “L” button on the remote:
  • To display Gateway Computer scroll to “ Computer Analog 1” - press “L” button to select.
  • To display Mac Computer scroll to “ Computer Analog 2” - press “L” button to select.

b. To display VCR or Document Viewer
  • Point Proxima Remote towards “black pyramid shaped object” press “Video” button on the remote. Menu will appear on the rear projection screen, then use the tracking ball on the remote to scroll down and select choice by pressing the “L” button on the remote:
  • To display VCR scroll to “Composite Video” and press “L” button to select.
  • To display Document Viewer scroll to “ S- Video” and press “L” button to select.
5. Shutting Down
When finished, turn off/shutdown each component. To turn off the LCD point remote towards “black pyramid shaped object” and press the “Power” button on the Proxima Remote (menu will appear on rear projection screen). Then press “Power’ button again to select “Yes” to turn off the LCD projector. Turn off power for the console using the button located underneath the console.
