116 Operating Multimedia Console |
| Overview This console has equipment that projects images and audio separately via a ceiling mounted projector. The computer is a Dell which includes a CD/DVD/CD-RW drive, and external Zip drive. |
| IRTS recommends that users of these rooms consider storing their data on the COE server so that they may readily retrieve it when using these computers, and other SEC multimedia classrooms or lecture halls. |
| Powering
equipment On/Off Turn on / off each component separately. The computer can be left on all the time. It will go into sleep mode and will “wake up” when you move the mouse or use the keyboard. |
| LCD and VCR remotes are located on top of desk. |
| Point LCD remote towards the screen to power On/Off the LCD projector |
| • To display computer you must press the "INPUT 1 " button on the LCD remote. |
| • To display Elmo: 1. Press the "INPUT 3 " button on the LCD remote. 2. Press the “Main” button on the Elmo control panel |
| • To display VCR: 1. Press the " INPUT 3" button on the LCD remote. 2. Press the “ INPUT AV1” button on the Elmo control panel. |
| • Power on/off Elmo projector with power switch located on the unit. |
| • Power on/off VCR with remote or button on the unit. |
| • Power off the LCD unit by pressing the Standby button twice. |
| • Important: Power off the LCD, Elmo and VCR when done. |
