What
do I do if I change my email address and want to stay on
COESEC-L?
If you leave one email address in favor of another, unsub
the old while you still have rights to it. You cannot
unsub the old address from your new address. Once the
old address is invalid bounces will begin to show up in
the list owner’s mailbox. If you forget to unsub old
address send an email to nancy.wegand@uni.edu
requesting that she unsub your old address. Include the
old address in this request. Using the *reply* command to
a message read on COESEC-L will send your reply to the person
who wrote the message.
What
should I do if I begin to receive the same email message
repeatedly?
If you find that you are receiving the same COESEC-L message
over and over, do **NOT** post a message back to the COESEC-L
list asking if others are seeing the same thing. They are,
and they will also begin to see your query over and over.
Mailboxes will simply fill up twice as fast. Instead, forward
*one* copy of the message to nancy.wegand@uni.edu
and to ken.connelly@uni.edu.
The copy that you choose to forward should include all of
the e-mail header information and should *not* be the first
copy that you received (the first copy will not include
tracks of the offending system in the headers).
