The School of Health, Physical Education & Leisure Services (HPELS) is equipped with a variety of up-to-date technology found in the following facilities: PC computer labs, academic/research labs, multimedia classrooms, lecture halls, faculty offices and Instructional Resources and Technology Services (IRTS). HPELS faculty, staff and students are served by the COE-based technical support team in IRTS.
In addition, HPELS is also served by Information Technology Services (ITS), the campus-wide technology support organization. While IRTS supports HPELS/COE labs, servers, multimedia classrooms and faculty/staff machines, ITS responsibilities include the support of phone and data lines, email, instructional design/development and hosting web servers.
IRTS and ITS personnel collaborate to best serve HPELS/COE students, staff and faculty. IRTS is also responsible for developing and maintaining the COE web site.
