Biography

Dr. Williams is an associate professor and Executive Associate Director of the School of Health , Physical Education and Leisure Services. Dr. Williams was the Inaugural chair of the Division of Athletic Training at the University of Northern Iowa . He earned a B.S. degree from Weber State University in 1994, a M.S. degree from Indiana State University in 1995, and a Ph.D. from New Mexico State University in 1998. Dr. Williams' teaching and research interests are in the area of Athletic Training.

• Evidence based medicine and policy implications

• Orthotics and their effects on fatigue

• The effect of pickle juice on exercise induced muscle cramping
