Biography

Cindy was born in Connecticut and grew up in Massachusetts . Since 1985 she has been one of the dance faculty at the University of Northern Iowa. Prior to that she taught courses in the areas of dance and physical education at Edinboro State University in Pennsylvania and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently teaches dance theory courses in composition, curriculum, history and production and an activity course in aerobic dance and exercise. She is also the director of UNI's Young Peoples Dance Theatre. Her research interests include dance education and dance/movement for the older adult.

 

Cindy loves traveling. She has traveled to several different countries for leisure and professional activities. She also loves being outside and continues to participate in several outdoor physical activities.
