Class of 2010
These 9 students were admitted in August of 2007 and are in their first year of coursework and practicum experiences. This one-year, Master of Arts in Education (MAE) program in educational psychology consists of 32 semester hours of coursework, two semesters of part-time practicum experiences in the schools and other settings, and a Master’s paper. When the MAE is successfully completed, students may apply to the Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Program in School Psychology

Class of 2009
These 8 students in their second year of coursework and practicum experiences and have completed the MAE in Educational Psychology. During the second year of the program, students begin their Ed.S. work. Experiences in the second year include 22 semester hours of coursework, two semesters of part-time practicum experience, and completion of the Ed.S. thesis. Students who successfully complete requirements in the second year of the program are eligible for conditional licensure as a school psychologist in Iowa and may apply for an internship.

Class of 2008
Our third-year students are employed as school psychology interns at various Area Education Agencies in Iowa. During the third year of the program students complete a full time, paid internship and present a comprehensive case study. The Ed.S. degree is awarded following successful completion of the third-year requirements.
