Faculty members in the department of Educational Psychology & Foundations teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychological and social foundations. These courses support the preparation and continuing development of teachers and human-service professionals such as school psychologists, counselors, and school administrators. The courses taught by the department include those in the areas of human development, personality, school psychology, educational psychology, measurement and research, and the history, sociology, and philosophy of education.

In addition to their undergraduate teaching responsibilities, many faculty are actively involved in one or more of the department’s graduate programs: MAE in Educational Psychology, MAE in Educational Psychology: Professional Development for Teachers, Ed.S. in School Psychology.
