The
Superintendency Preparation Program
- Program Requirements and Outcomes Based on the Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL) Integrated with the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards
- Thirty-three Credit Hours Delivered through eight Courses and extensive internship
- A New Cohort Begins Each Year With the Spring Semester (January)
- Two and One-Half Year Program
- One week on the UNI Campus the First Summer Students are Enrolled in the Program
- Program Delivered via the web and the Iowa Communications Network (ICN) and WebCT to Sites throughout Iowa

- Practicum is Integrated with Every Course Emphasizing Performance-Based Standards
- Reflective Practice, Practicum, and Internship Integrated Throughout the Program
