The International Dance Theatre, which is a program through HPELS, were guests of teh Schwaben Club in Kitchener, Ontario.  The Schwaben Club is a long standing German club that has its roots as a community based help organization aiding those dealing with medical expenses.  Kitchener, Ontario has the largest Oktoberfest in North America and the 2nd largest in the world.  Only the event in Munich, Germany is larger.

Students took part in the opening ceremonies is downtown Kitchener.  They performed at the Schwaben Club in front of sold out crowds.  They also marched in Canada's Thanksgiving Day parade which was broadcast across the country on national television.
