Education

Dr. Depken received her doctoral degree from Temple University in the area of Women's Health/Health Promotion. She also completed post-graduate work in epidemiology at the University of Buffalo.

Violence Prevention Program Evaluation.

Philosophical and theoretical underpinnings of approaches to women's health.

Substainability, environmental health, and potential linkages in health promotion/women's health programs.

Sexual coercion and eating disorders.

Current research interest involve body image and determininants of body dissatisfaction.  Dr. Depken is also involved in a multi-year evaluation of a Environmental Technology Education Programs at Tribal Colleges.
