210:143g APPLICATIONS AND CONTENT IN ELEMENTARY SOCIAL STUDIES--Applying knowledge of current trends, resources, and content as a means of developing, enriching and expanding the social studies curriculum.

210:164 TEACHING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES--Basic methods and materials for teaching the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values in history, geography, economics, civics and behavioral sciences.

210: 243 ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE SOCIAL STUDIES CURRICULUM IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL--Assists teachers in exploring historical and current practices in social studies in order to create new instructional approaches by using available resources and ideas.

210:289 SEMINAR IN EDUCATION: ELEMENTARY EDUCATION--Assists teachers in exploring best practices in classroom teaching. It will also assist participants in selecting and developing a topic for the paper/project as required for the M.A. in elementary education.

210:352 CURRICULUM THEORY AND DEVELOPMENT--Aids the advanced graduate student in viewing, analyzing and interpreting the curriculum and instruction program of an educational institution and in developing skills for implementing change.
