Joining forces for STEM and literacy
At the Iowa Statewide STEM Conference on March 28, 2014, two University of Northern Iowa research centers and the School Library Studies Division announced a partnership to promote high quality STEM and literacy integration for PreK-3rd grade students. Read more.
Eight School Library Studies students received a Master of Arts degree on December 21, 2013. The graduates, including Jessica Zimmerman pictured at left with professor Karla Krueger, began the program in August 2011 and completed a master's research paper in fall 2013. Seven are currently working as teacher librarians and one is a fourth grade classroom teacher. Congratulations to our graduates!
