Resources
"Librarians are almost always very helpful and often almost absurdly knowledgeable. Their skills are probably very underestimated and largely underemployed." --Charles Medawar

The SLS program has a small collection of resources (books, periodicals, software, etc.) in the Technology Classroom (124) and the Seminar Room (129). If you want to borrow resources from this collection, please see the Office Manager for instructions on the check out system. Computer software does not circulate. There is also a collection of research papers and projects from our graduates stored in filing cabinets in Room 125. You are welcome to browse through these and borrow titles you want to review in depth. Again, please check these items out with our Office Manager.

There are two laptops (one Macintosh, one PC) that are available for checkout. We also have a digital camera, digital camcorder, two 35 mm cameras, and accessories for these cameras available. A tape recorder is available for student use in research projects. Additionally, one LCD projector will circulate to students who need to do a presentation. Please see our Technology Classroom Manager for more information, or to check them out.

Job Postings appear on our Jobs wiki. If you are interested in applying for a position, it would be helpful to let the Program Coordinator know your intent. Calls from school administrators are received regularly.

Rod Library resources detailed on this fact sheet are also available for your use. You are welcome to use these resources and study in the SLS area, however PLEASE return library materials to shelving sections at the end of each day. Do not leave these materials in the SLS area or your locker UNLESS you have checked them out.
