UNI Instructional Technology Programs Earn National Recognition
CEDAR FALLS,
Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's Masters programs in Educational
Technology and Performance and Training
Technology have met national standards for the Association
of Educational Communications and Technology (AECT). Meeting
professional standards is considered an indicator of a quality program
that prepares graduates well for future professional positions.
Only about
15 such programs nationwide have achieved this distinction. This
program recognition is the first in Iowa under these new standards.
The program received official recognition at the AECT international
convention in Anaheim, California, in October, 2003.
