Consulting Hours
Graduate Teaching Assistants provide individual assistance in SEC 405 during regularly scheduled consulting hours. Consulting hours do not replace lab attendance. Rather, they are intended to help you resolve problems and answer specific questions regarding the use of software or activities in lab. Teaching Assistants will not re-teach labs for those who chose not to attend lab the previous week. Failure to attend lab results in a forfeit of consulting hour privileges the following week, except in the event of an excused absence.

About USB Flash Drives
USB Flash Drives are sold in a variety of capacities and are compatible with virtually all computers. One USB Flash Drive should accommodate all of your class files this semester. It will also serve as a good way to save projects and assignments for your portfolio and other classes! You should have your own USB Flash Drive with a capacity of 2GB or more. Many area businesses sell these devices (University Book & Supply, Walmart, Target, Staples, Best Buy, etc.) as do online vendors (amazon.com, buy.com, newegg.com, etc.)
Reminder: You are expected to regularly backup your work and always maintain at least two copies of your computer files in two separate locations (e.g., USB Flash drive, eLearning My Files, external hard drive, network folder, personal computer, etc.) in order to avoid data loss which may result from hardware failure or user error.
