Digital Portfolio

Portfolio PagesClass assignments demonstrate individual examples of achievement, but collecting your body of work into a portfolio can demonstrate the breadth of your knowledge and skills. Creating a portfolio requires you to examine your projects as well as reflect upon the process of creating them.

A digital portfolio provides a richer and more interconnected format than the traditional notebook (printed) portfolio. Your digital portfolio can be easily updated. It can be dynamically linked to a variety of multimedia and easily shared with a global audience via the World Wide Web.

The greatest obstacle to creating digital portfolios can be the practitioner's perception of the technology itself. The technology, however, does not need to be complicated. This assignment simplifies the process by using Google Sites and providing you with templates as a framework for creating your own digital portfolio.

Assignment
Using the templates provided, collect the projects (artifacts) you have developed in class this semester to create your own digital portfolio. Integrate samples of your Ed Tech & Design projects and the reflections you wrote which align your projects with the INTASC Standards.

    • Who I am
    • Why I am going to be a teacher
    • What I hope to achieve through teaching
