ePortfolio
Class projects demonstrate individual examples of achievement, but gathering a more complete body of work into a portfolio can demonstrate the breadth of your knowledge and skills. Creating a portfolio requires you to examine your projects as well as reflect upon the process of creating them.
An electronic portfolio (ePortfolio) provides a richer and more interconnected format than the traditional notebook portfolio. Your digital portfolio can be easily updated. It can be dynamically linked to a variety of multimedia and easily published online to a global audience!
Note—These were created in previous semesters and may not reflect the current project requirements described below.
Sometimes the greatest obstacle to creating an electronic portfolio can be the practitioner's perception of the technology itself. The technology does not need to be complicated, however. This assignment simplifies the process by using Google Sites and providing you with a template to get started creating your own ePortfolio.
Assignment
Using the template provided, gather the projects (artifacts) you have developed in this class to begin creating your digital portfolio. Integrate samples of your Ed Tech & Design projects and the reflections you wrote aligning your projects to the INTASC+1 Standards. As you progress through the rest of your program of study at UNI, add additional artifacts and reflections to your ePortfolio.
Requirements
- Portfolio home page includes your picture and a brief description related to the three required elements:
- Who I am
- Why I am going to be a teacher
- What I hope to achieve through teaching
- Artifacts Matrix page aligns projects and standards (see Reflection Guidelines for the correlation of projects and standards)

- Individual artifact pages link to corresponding standard pages
- Individual standard pages link to corresponding artifact pages
- Artifact matrix page links to individual artifact pages and individual standard pages
- Standards overview page links to individual standard pages
- Apply the CARP design principles to create an effective and consistent visual design throughout your ePortfolio web site.
