Dr. Victoria Robinson

Interim Dean and Professor, College of Education

Victoria L. Robinson became the Interim Dean of the College of Education at the University of Northern Iowa in July, 2015. She provides leadership for 175 faculty in the departments of Teaching, Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education, Educational Leadership and Postsecondary Education, Educational Psychology and Foundations; as well as the School of Health, Physical Education and Leisure Services that serve approximately 2,775 undergraduate and graduate students.

Prior to assuming the interim dean position, Robinson served as head of UNI’s Department of Educational Leadership and helped develop future principals and superintendents. An Iowa educator since 1971, Robinson taught high school social studies, served as a special education teacher and led a high school as principal. As an educator and a leader, she sees herself as a connector. She connects people to ideas, people to opportunities, people to people and people to themselves.
