The College of Education (COE) is equipped with a variety
of up-to-date technology found in the following facilities:
Mac and PC computer labs, multimedia classrooms, lecture
halls, faculty offices and Instructional
Resources and Technology Services (IRTS). COE
faculty, staff and students are served by a COE-based
technical support team in IRTS / Curriculum Lab. Malcolm
Price Laboratory School, one of the major COE facilities,
has its own technical support personnel.
In addition, the COE is also served
by Information
Technology Services (ITS), the campus-wide technology
support organization. While IRTS supports COE labs,
servers, multimedia classrooms and faculty/staff machines,
ITS responsibilities include the support of phone
and data lines, email, instructional design/development
and hosting web servers.
IRTS and ITS personnel collaborate
to best serve COE students, staff and faculty. IRTS
is also responsible for developing and maintaining
the COE web site.
